Ramna Vord
We had a glorious week at lovely Ramnavord. It’s a very special and unique place and the cottage is beautifully equipped with all you could possibly need whatever the weather. Views and wildlife seen and heard from the house are spectacular, wildlife all around is fabulous, and peace and calm very much a dominant feature. Brilliant walks from the house, and even though Sandness is not particularly central for travelling around the rest of the islands, it is worth the small amount of extra driving necessary to be in such a wonderful location. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

This is the ultimate in getting away from it all holidays. Fantastic views out to the Island of Papa Stour and surrounded by spectacular coastline. We had two great evenings watching an otter just below the house. Ramna Vord is a superbly equipped and very comfortable house in which to while away time. We had a wonderful time there and can thoroughly recommend it as a destination for the most restorative of breaks.
